another noob question

boss is one of those super duper oveerrated amps. look at the fusing, multiply that by 10, and thats about what you can expect out of it in a realistic situation.

unfortunately, kenwood is kinda the same way. find the fuse, multiply the amperage by 10, and thats about what it will do.

repeat until you find a suitable amp. how much power are you looking for?

I would recomend staying away from Boss. There a lot of really great amps out there today, and they are really not that much more than some of the junk amps, but do real power and are supre reliable. The Kenwood stuff is .... ok... at best, but they don't realy put out any power. Howerver on the other end, a few... of Kenwood subs are ok for an entry level. ask around on here for opinions on low end reputable equipment. Like the Memphis PR stuff. Just my input

I just peaked at the AQ stuff, looks pretty good. I would run a single 10 or 12 depending on the vehicle. and get an amp that matches power wise and build slow. find out what works and what doesnt. ask a lot of questions and lear nfron your mistakes
