BassJunkie Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 Wow.. my brother just told me my nephew (he just turned 7 last month) was suspended. He's always sneaking toys and gameboys to school, which is typical for a kid you know? I guess he snuck some toys in and one of them was a toy gun, none of the toys left his backpack. But I guess some kid told on him, and he got 3 days suspension. I was pretty pissed, I just had a talk with him and he said he didn't know that he would get in that big of trouble for taking a TOY to school. I know, my nephew is pretty dumb for taking it to school, it was his fault for doing so, but for those who have kids do your kids know about things like this? BURRITO Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 my son is 5 now... you gotta keep your kids up to date with current afairs! my wife is a cop so my kid def. knows about guns! talking to my son about current affairs helps him to understand the good and bad of all topics! we need to raise our kids loving life and everything it brings, even the hard times... when a kid KNOWS how valuable life really is, life is apreciated all the more! i lost my best friend when i was 17, thats when i finally grew up!!! When i was in elementary school i brought in fireworks and matches in my bag for like a month before someone snitched me out, but all they did was take my fireworks from me and i went to the principal and had the padding.
