I am currently running a few kinetik 2250s in my car and my friend who just quit working at an autozone just happen to hook me up with 4 yellow top optimas. 1992Chevy K1500 Posted November 5, 2009 Report Share Posted November 5, 2009 They're good, but kinetiks are better. My optima yellow top batt has 50 Ah of reserve capacity. If you take care of them, they'll last a while. My red top lasted a good 5 years because I took care of it. And it was still good when I got rid of it. The only problem was the side posts were stripped and I didn't have top post connectors (still don't).
