kl0wn
Okay, well before this system, I have only had one system which was 2 10" L5s, powered by a ZX300.1, had 8Gauge power/ground wire, no Big 3 done. Well after a while of doing stupid stuff, I was finally able to save up money for another vehicle & system, so here it all is! By the way these are all taken with my cell phone the LG Dare because the camera I do have was lent to my friend for a few weeks. The vehicle The sub, 18" Fi Q The amp, AQ1200D Now to the box! 8.40 CuFt tuned to 28hz ^That little space overtop the 45 was fixed with a little silicone haha Doing a little test fit to make sure it's good Had to go old school to cut the hole out Little bit of bracing All my wires n stuff Big 3 done in 1/0 Kolossus Fleks Kable with a 300Amp fuse Kinetik HC1400 hooked up in the back with only 4 Gauge Kolossus Fleks Kable will upgrade to 1/0 later on Then everything wired up and the sub in the vehicle I will be fixing the wire running out of the port this weekend, I just wanted to get everything installed before one of my classes (I have a restricted license, rarely get to drive.) I will be cutting a hole in the back of the box and running the wire through it and then using that expandable foam stuff to seal it up. So guys, tell me what you think! I know it's not the best or that great, but I am pretty proud of myself for it being my first actual box build. kl0wn
Very nice build for it being your first one. Good job mane. I posted it to try to get some input from people, see if there is something I can do different next time that will work better or something, and see if I did a decent job like I personally think I did with my first build, thanks for the input bro! fox_racin4
for your speaker wire... drill a hole JUST big enough to fit the wire threw and pull it threw then take some wood glue and put it in there let it dry and youll be good if its a tight enough fit you might not even need glue Quote 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole

fox_racin4
i just used the port but on the new box i used bolts so i can bring hte terminals to the back of the box for a shorter run of speaker wire since Quote 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
kl0wn
i just used the port but on the new box i used bolts so i can bring hte terminals to the back of the box for a shorter run of speaker wire since Yeah I was thinking about using bolts as terminals for it, think that would do better than just running the wire directly through the box? ADDED: Cuz I was thinking it wouldn't be as good because the power had to go through something else instead of just staying on the wire, didn't know if that would affect it or not Edited November 6, 2009 by kl0wn Quote 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz
