lownslow336
I've been running my setup for about a month with no problems till yesterday when the amp turned off during play. I felt the heatsink and it felt pretty warm. Im worried that it overheated, but in that case shouldnt a thermal light or protection light kick on to save the amp? I checked all the fuses and no problem there. Got out the DMM and check the power supply at the fuse and its getting proper voltage. Checked the remote wire and it reads .06 (seems very low, but not sure what its supposed to be). After a few hours I removed the power wire to the amp and re-connected it and then the amp worked again. Later that day on the way home, it went out again, and it won't turn on. Is the amp done for good, after 3 weeks of normal use? I have the gain set at 3/4 and am running all 1/0 gauge, a powermaster D5100R as a secondary battery in the trunk, big 3, and stock alt. I never turn the HU up more than 3/4 volume either. Any help on this would be appreciated. whoa! nice civic dude lol Quote Jenson head unit Rockford Fosgate wiring Rockford Fosgate p200.2(mids/highs) Rockford Fosgate p500.2(subs) 15' kicker L7
