Powerbass S-10D center console ????

Hello.This is my first post & I am a beginner to car audio,be gentle.

I have an 89' Silverado extra cab & box will be going in between front seats.I purchased a Powerbass S-10d & my box specs are (22" long X 11.5" W X 10" H =1.00839 cu. ft).Sub will be at rear,down fire but I'm stuck on were to place port.Will two 3" ports be OK at front of box facing drivers side?Or will a 1.5" X18.34" slot port facing rear of box sound better?

My old Alpine MRP-M450 will be powering the sub.
