white4d96
Might have to trim the wire down or try the zip tie trick. Got a link to the amp? Too many projects, too little time...
dcsoundlabMN
http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/trx2000d.aspx what exactly is the ziptie trick? 02 Chevy Trailblazer 18" DC XL build in progress... refs: ak1167 (bought tweeters from)
white4d96
Sometimes you can tighten down on the bare wire with a zip tie and fit it into tighter spots. Never tried it but have seen it recommended on here. EDIT: either that's a typo or that amp is seriously BS'ed with ratings. 110 at 4 and 2000 at 1? something's not right there... DOUBLE EDIT: Soundstream site says 1000@4 1500@2 and 2000@1. Too many projects, too little time...

Just make sure you have a stout electrical system they are power hungery! The Shoe Maker without shoes!

CaptainzPlanetz
I read somewhere that someone clamped one at 1700rms, but my guess is that was at closer to 16volts. Technical Specification * RMS Power Range : 1100 Watts * Number Of Channels: 1 * Maximum Power: 2000 Watts * Low Frequency response: 15 Hz * High Frequency Response: 250 Hz * Built In Crossovers: Yes * Channel Separation: Yes See it uses the term max power in the first set of specs, then a bit down it uses RMS, so I believe it would do around 1500-1700 or so if you could keep the volts in the mid to high 15's. ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............
