Hello, im Kevin lately i have been thinking of adding a system to my 1990 4wd Isuzu PUP std. cab. I have been wondering about shallow mount subs and how good they hit im thinking of these Kenwoods http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113KFCWS12/Ke...S12.html?tp=111 on a VERY! tight budget

what kind of mounting depth do you have. you may not have to go with shallows (shallows are horrible IMO)

i wouldnt say more than 5" of mounting depth very small truck and im not small i have the seat as far as it can go to be comfortable for me

then go with the DD 1508's theyre loud as hell and they sound great. plus youll surprise people with those little 8's :)

im very limited on space and money i might just go ahead and put my planed system in and once i get the money sell to buy new better stuff give my sister my old one for her car

well if thats what you want t do then its you decision. but i garuntee to you that the 8's will be a ton louder then those shallows

and i know what its like i have a reg cab light duty truck too

Money isnt easy to make. I know it may be cheaper and most guys here dont believe in low end but at least you would have some beat. I personally have seen a few of those trucks but never with any type of system so definitely post up pics of the install. I know there may be some out there with installs but I myself have yet to see one personally.

yea i know i spent 6 months or more saving up for my system. rent, gas, insurance and women will really kill your wallet but anyways what i was getting at here was the fact that if you really want to get loud then it may be better to wait.

haha yes women break your wallet especially when it comes to money for your install. might be good to save up for that install and while saving do some deadening a bit at a time. This would ensure the best sound when you do finish and you will be highly proud when you get the install completed.
