i recently bought 2 10" cadence sub woofers from a friend link at bottom and i have very limited space for a box i have about 26"W x 11-12"H x 12-14" D depth might not be accurate for 14" but should be... Im wondering if a ported or non-port would be better for this setup. I went to an audio shop and can get a sealed custom made box for $170 carpeted and tuned good deal??? Spec for subs in link:]

$170 for a sealed box? jesus christ thats a ripoff. i wouldnt pay 1/2th that for a sealed box even if it was made by god himself.

btw a sealed box virtually cannot be tuned.

theres alot of guys on here that have the ability to design a box better than an audio shop 90% of the time.

I kinda figured it was a rip off once i looked at prices for the 3/4 MDF.

I guess he ment set the amp to it's most potential settings

Would it be hard to achieve a box that dips down to clear 6x9s?
