The Big Oki
And some news here also. (But that should be enough then for the next 3 months LOL) I finally got my 30" monitor. WHAT A HASSLE! Not available, problems with settings (its a pro version with totally different abilities than we know from "consumer" products). But I got it done and working with it is great. Resolution is 2560x1600 what helps me with the 3D Programme. I also still use my 3 "normal" 28" monitors when needed, so that I have a 10 Megapixel Desktop here Dont know if I will replace one 28" by a Full HD 42" or so, just for Video check applications. So far its very rare that I have all 4 working. Most times the 30", as planned. Now its time to start to rebuild the desk itself. My back problems threw my behind over 2 months Üüüühh!!! pear_b
hans makes some great products! Maybe grab the new eyefinity card from ati that is capable of 6 monitors on 1 card, i believe the a few 5870's will have the power to do it. Quick question, what 3D program are you using for those renders? The Big Oki
Hey (my first post after the forum relaunch) No need for 6 monitors. But I have this grafic adapter under observation already As mentioned many times, its the 3D Studio I use. So far I was able to get some word with that. Built, contructed and designed some demo booths for german car audio companies. They will be introduced in two weeks at a big show. Hope they turned out how I designed them I am kind of excited about that. Will use these as "references". So I can step back in competition, but still work car audio related. I even built the whole exhibition hall what I fill step by step with booths I made I may put up some small pics in the next time. Heck, those pice need up to 5-7 hours for rendering. Computer is totally blocked then and sucks power out of the cord. One scene is up to 250 meg bis and contains up to 8 million polygons. Guess its time for a new big calculation machine. But anyways it will be too slow. When I see what renderfarms other companies have, and still have to wait for a picture... I am just glad to have this big resolution. I just see lines here...
