alright well my cousin has a lincoln navigator with 2 cvr's ect... anyways the problem is that when ever u turn off the car or even turn the lights on u hear a popping noise like "booom" sound. what is wrong the amp maybe???????

sounds like the soft turn on is not working

when the amp recieves power it comes on slowly so that it doesnt do that thump you hear same as it is powering down

i doubt its the soft-turn on. i dont think those things just go bad randomly.

sounds like a textbook case of a bad amp ground or RCA ground.

edit: how is his amp grounded, is it bolted to a piece of straight metal with the paint grounded off.
