Well, basically I'm gonna trade my blown dc for either a yellowtop or batcap2000 and was wondering which to get.

batcap 2000 ftw dude!!!

Another question, how to charge the batcap2000? Do I need that special one batcap sells or can I use like a regular 3 stage slow battery charger? Or can I just hook it up and it'll charge the batcap?
