What is your current setup?

2 type r 12s with an Alpine MRP-M1000 amp all stock electrical running 4 gauge wire witha 60 amp fuse

your chokin that amp 1000 watt needs a hundred amp fuse could be a little hard on your amp to could lead to premature failure if the setup you want to do is not goin into your current ride then buy your stuff and get it all together so when you get your new ride you can put it in that one

have you upgraded the big 3 yet? that could be why you're getting the voltage drop. I would get the 1/0 and the alt first then worry about the amp and other 2 type Rs. But if your looking into getting a new car then why upgrade the alternator in the first place? There's no point in upgrading your alt if your getting rid of the car unless your getting a car that has the dog ears in the exact same place as your current car.

This is true too didnt realize your fuse was only 60 amps

I know but I kinda skimmped on the wire this time which wasnt the best idea but its working fine and it came with a 60 amp fuse so I'm scared to change it because I dont want to start a fire..and thats the plan..

Knu 1/0 gauge wire with 200 amp fuse

optima yellow top 75/25

Iraggi 260-300 amp alternator..depends on how much money I have left

optima yellow top 75/25

Iraggi 260-300 amp alternator..depends on how much money I have left

a bigger fuse is cheap alot cheaper than a new amp

I dont plan on upgrading the current amp..I am just planning on my next vehicle and I want to make sure I have everything right before I start buying but I am going to get a 1996-2000 something blazer
