SocoJoe Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Turn your headunit up to the highest volume you ever listen to it at and put the tone on repeat. voltage = sqrt( watts X ohms) so if you have a 2500 watt @ 2 ohm amp this is how it would look voltage= sqrt(2500x2) v=sqrt(5000) v=70.71 so you then set your gain on your amplifier for your dmm to read 70.71 then reconnect your speakers remove your tone disc and your goood to.
