Toady Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Alright so my friend jroc55 bought a pioneer avh4100 doublin din touchscreen for his 2000 nissan maxima with bose system. The kit fit perfect and the stereo fit perfect as well, so the harnesses that came with it we plugged in and hooked up the necessary wires. So we turn the car on the stereo lights up and functions, but no sound. Does anybody know a solution. Is the factory bose system an issue????

raytard Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 use a metra kit? theres 2 versions for that car, (7550 and 7551) 7551 is what you need, its easy to spot cuz it has 4 rca's on it and not just hard lines, if all you have is hard lines, you got the wrong wire kit.
