Guest Posted December 24, 2009 Report Share Posted December 24, 2009 I know thats what the alternator does but since I was gonna just run one battery for awhile I didnt know if it would need to be charged after so long..since its a daily driver and I like to do demos i didnt know if it would get a full charge or not the alternator keeps the battery topped off all the time. so no need to add another charger. edit: i should really add, only if theres no voltage drop. or very little i would think. Ok..sweet the only reason I said that is my electrical is all stock and I'm running an MRP-M1000 amp and right now its really quiet i think because my batt is getting low or my alternator isnt working right because I shut everything off except for lights and drove for quite awhile and it seemed to help a bit, but not much. So I'm thinking I need to charge it.
