I'm thinking about getting a '97 Golf. Looking to do it up obviously. Just wondering if anyone on here has ever owned/worked on a golf. What's the best box for it? Same as others, sub up port back? Any tips on installing/routing wire? Any tips & tricks are appreciated since this would be my first vdub.

i had a golf. 1.8 turbo with ingen intercooler and dump valve.. only had a cerwin vega in it but they are nice cars... dont blow ur clutch, happened to me twice=2000k

LISTEN TO ME DONT GET IT. I owned one so did a lot of my friend nothing but problems the eletrical is terrible the drive system is terrible look in the consumer guides about them if you dont believe me they are rated horribly. Im telling you my car spent more time in the shop than on the road.
