Since you have a big trunk to play with...

You should really look into building yourself a ported box.

But if the ONLY thing you have to work with is a sealed box, it will work.

Keep in mind though. Pre-fabricated boxes tend to be really weak and flimsy, causing you to lose some of the potential output of your subs.

Basically, Ported > Sealed.

What do you plan on adding a layer of? Because really all you can do to stiffen up a pre-fabricated box is fiberglass/resin...

Keep in mind, people will build you a box... Obviously its not cheap, but there are a few on this forum that do it. Shipping would be the expensive part.

But like i said earlier, if all you have to work with is a sealed box, you gotta work with what you got.

A good idea for any sealed box would be to add poly-fill to the box (basically a pillow fluff), it tricks the air inside the box into thinking it has more space to work with. Just line the back of the box with it about 6 inches thick, keep it away from the subs moving parts though.

And sorry, to answer your original question... The Lvl 3's will sound great!!

From what i have heard, DC makes nothing but a quality product, with excellent customer service!!
