79 cutty
Keep up the great work! that is one sick dash. gonna be a sweet ride Thanks. Still a long way to go on the dash, but it's getting there. Hopefully after hitting a couple low spots I can hit it with some primer and see how bad it really is! 79 cutty
So you are sticking a sub in the dash? Yes an 8" image dynamic ID8. Would have liked to go bigger, but reality in the trunk is at a premium with the piston pump, 2 regular pumps, 9 group 31 batteries, and 16" cylinders. Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! 79 cutty
Well onto to the progress from this weekend: Sanded down the dash bezel with 360 grit and got all the glue off of it (that was a treat) sending the bezel out to get chrome plated: Also did some molding on my spindles and finished those up. Sending those out to chrome as well: Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. 79 cutty
Got my dash piece back from chrome plating (plastic that is!) Turned out amazing. Just couldn't get a very good pic of it due to the shine on it. From this: To this: With the factory black plastic decals back on it: Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking!
