Hostility
Just trying to help out, but 14-16 is what i use personally... yea i can figure everything out, its just knowing how much to use, the box i have designed is going to use 93 sq inches of port. so its either that, or do 100 sq inches. but i figured i would be safe at 15. and i believe 20 is more for spl Quote 99 s10 4.3L Big 3 220amp alt Odyssey 1500 Odyssey 2150 Northstar NSB 75 Sundown Audio 3500D Sundown Audio 125.2 3 Sundown Audio SA-12's Alpine H/U RF Power Comp set 6.5" RF 3 sixty line driver 5.25 cubes @ 31hz

bkolfo4
Something to think about: If the port is facing up, a 24.5" port wall will not work with a 7.5" width and a box 29" high. Leaves an opening inside the box only 3.75" wide (needs to be 7.5" wide). If you shorten the port wall up so the opening is 7.5" wide, then the port length including the corner is 29". You can add a 45 in the corner behind the port (make sure the width never drops below 7.5" wide), and this will shorten the length through the corner slightly. Not sure what the driver displacement is for those subs, but assuming ~.1, you are left with 6 ft^3. A ~27-29" port length is ~32 hz tuning. It will definitely work, just wanted to make sure you noticed the port length vs. box height. . . Brian thanks brian, i already knew about that, tried to draw it up on paper and wasn't working out, i know the port was coming out to 29 was hoping someone knew what was wrong with that, i do plan on putting a 45 in the corner, and all those numbers have the displacement of the sub already, those numbers are all after displacement of the subs. (those specs of box are final after all displacement) i just dont understand how im going to get it to work.
