15" MEMPHIS MOJO QUAD 1

Recommended Posts

I just baught a Memphis Mojo Quad 1 ohm and a 3.5 or 4 cubes box and i need to kno what amp i should run for this sub and how to wire it for 1ohm or my wiring options for a quad 1 ....also do u think this setup will be loud

That sub will handle anywhere from 2000 - 3000 watts easily. I put one in my Sons car and run it at 3000 watts daily. Tuning should be around 38-40hz with 16 sq inches of port per cube and in a box around 4 cubes net.

And yes it will get loud. Our setup is in a trunk firing forward and we did a 145.1 on a Termlab meter.

You can wire it 4ohm, 1ohm or .25ohm.

Hobby^^ pretty much hit everything on the head there... Depending on the power u plan on running, the enclosure will be different to maximize the potential of whatever amp you'll be using. If u wanted to keep it all one company then a Memphis 2500.1 would work perfectly for that woofer. As far as wiring just imagine using a pair of D1 woofers and it will make it easier to visualize.
