littleitaly1990
Hey guys, I need some ideas on a home theater system with 5.1 speakers for 1000 bucks total, including reciever. It's for my fraternity, so I'm willing to sacrifice quality a little for loudness and good bass...any help would be appreciated! Quote A vitrolic, megalomaniacal sadistic psychopath. Alexdb7
check out yamaha amps and JBL speakers, ive got a 5.1 amp and system on my PC for my recording studio. its only 1 8" but its pretty damn good for being in a room. i think i payed around $600 for the whole setup because i got the speakers open box at Best Buy. my Yamaha amp also has HD video in and out so you can run an entire entertainment system on it Quote Custom Car Audio (815) 916 - 9194 www.midwestsplcustoms.com 2000 Tahoe | 22" GREED Celebrities Alpine CDA-117 Dual 0/1 Runs (3) 925 CA Group 31 In Back (4) 18" FI Audio Q's (W/ Extra Spider) (4) Hifonics BXi 2010D Hifonics ZXi 4410 4 RF P1653 6 1/2's Big 3 All Kicker/Knu Wiring

littleitaly1990
I guess I should have specified more...that looks like a pretty baller set-up for movies and such but I'm looking more for music for a 200+ person party, so 4 channels would actually be fine....this is mainly for music for my fraternity, so big and loud is best...thanks though. In that case, I would hit up parts express and check out there powered PA speakers like the jbl's they will fuckin get straight loud.
