Buss Bars

I got a question,

I alwas thought the point of buss bars was to run less wires. What is the advantage of running a buss bar on the batts. but still running individual wires from the batts to the distribution bar?

I am getting ready to begin my new build here in a few months and would like to understand this better. Figured ther would be no better people to ask than the Mead Heads .

Batteries only have one pos and one neg bolt hole normally. with a buss bar you can add more spots to bold down wires without having to stack them. You can also use them to connect a bank of batteries. They are also useful as cheaper distroblock.

I guess my thought was, if you buss the batts. together, you would only need to run 1 from the batt buss to the dits. buss. I sorta realize looking at Meads, I forgot to take into accout that he has 4 alts. Plus there is most likely too much amperage to make a single wire run form the dist. buss to the batt. buss.
