So I thought the last year chevy put the 350 in the 1500's was 98 and a few in 99 but I've heard from a couple of people that they used them in some 1500's up to 01?? So what I'm asking is what is the last year they did?

Im pretty sure it was 99 cause when ever I get on alldata to look up info on my 01 gmc sierra it does not show any 5.7 liter option. 5.3l is what is in mine and it has more horsepower than the 350's in any other year chevy truck. Just because its a 327c.i.d. does not mean its a pooch.

With all the new electronics we use, you can make a small motor have a ton of power and all in all it will weigh less too.
