New car and build...some ?s

What's happenin guys I'm brand new to forum and wanted to get my potential build out there and I had some questions too. This is what I plan on going with:

-1 set of RF T1652-S components (Only plan on running a front stage)

-RF Power Series 2 or 4 channel amp for front stage

-1 DC Audio Lvl 4 or 4XL 12" ported around 2.5-3.0 3^ft tuning probably 32-33hz

-RF T1500-1bd amp

-RF 3sixty.2 for my processor and LOCs

For the box I plan on sealing it off from the trunk with the port firing into the cabin (middle seat folds down). The amps and the 3sixty will be in the spare tire well mounted on a simple but clean-looking rack (this is gonna be my first big build ) Now my couple of questions are: With that amp and box volume would I be better off with the XL or be fine with the DC lvl 4? I was thinking of attempting to go active with the components so could I use a four channel amp and say...use channels 1 and 2 for my tweets and use the front RCAs on the 3.sixty then use 3 and 4 for the mids and use the rear RCAs? How do you guys think it would sound going that route? I've ran power and ground wires for an amp to a single 12 before but this is sounding like a much more intense project...I'm EXCITED!!! haha Anybody who cares to chime in please do so and thanks!

I'll probably keep the box close to 2.5 because I can't go much bigger than that. I still want to be able to open up the false floor in the trunk so I'm limiting myself. I was looking at the DC specs page and for the XL they recommend 1.7(small??) to 2.75 3^ft so I figure I should be fine with that.

Anyone care to chime in on the active crossover question? That one is most important to me right now as I'm ready to buy the setup for mids and highs right now...just want to know if its worth it to get a four channel amp with the 3sixty.2 or just go passive with a two channel.

Id do the four channel with the 3 sixty give you better tuning and you will like firing that sub forward sealed off from the trunk it will sound cleaner I did my one fifteen that way I like it alot

Thanks for the input. I made my first purchase today...should get the RF 3sixty.2 in a week and the T1652-S comps and T600-4 amp will soon follow. I love tax season!

what up man, i've never tried what that other guy said about facing it into the ab and sealing it, but from my experiance i would go as big as you can, allowing you to access the tire, i would build it and port it at 32Hz and face it back, and you'll probably love it, 32Hz does a good responce for all notes,

or you could try and freak people out hahah and do a low low port at like 27-30 Hz haha hahah got to love that low bass hahah
