first of all why do you want to run 8 400rms subs? you can get different (also better) subs that handle just as much and get less of them so you save on space.

edit: for example you could theoretically get 2 DC Level 4's and throw the same power to them and they will be just as loud.

honestly just watching videos on youtube i see quite a few running if not 8 of them 12 of them. Space isnt an issue car will only be driven on the weeknds if that or to local hangouts, and yes i have more then enough space for 8. would 4 kicker L7's 15's be better? i have 1grand just for subs alone if that helps

How much room do you have? I doubt you'll be able to get 15-20 cubes in a trunk. Unless you're walling, I don't see this happening.

more subs isnt always better.

for a grand dedicated to subs you could easily do

2 18" Fi BTL's fully loaded (all options besides P Chamfer). $968 shipped. these can easily handle 3000rms daily.

or 3 Audioque HDC318's for $927 shipped. easily handle 2000 a piece.

power acoustik is complete trash. audioque's amps, especially their brand new updated 3500d amp, are super strong

i like the a3000db amps he has though i had them for a good while and i would recommend them on a budget set up...my two cents....

just because a guy can fit X amount of subs in his car, doesnt mean that the subs are getting the correct amount of air space.

those kind of guys in the videos just put the crazy amount of subs in their ride because of the flex. Flex = Loudness to some people, its dumb as fuck IMO. they really only hit like mid 40's on the termlab which is a disgrace to the amount of equipment that is installed

Just because they're all shoved in there doesn't mean that they should be, or that it's done right. I would never do something like that in a trunk honestly...2 good 15" in a properly build ported or BP box, on clean power, will eat that setup alive.
