Duece22
Hey guys. Im lookin to compete in the Carl Casper show in Louisville KY here soon.. but do i need to purchase a MECA Amateur membership in order to do so?? I've already tried purchasing one anyways.. but i cant seem to get it to work on the MECA website. If i have to have one will I be able to buy one at the actual Carl Casper event? I really dont want to buy a hotel up there for 3 nights and then not even be able to compete. Any suggestions on what i should do? BenH
You can register and become a MECA member at the show. I actually re-register my member status @ Casper, every year. I think it's $20 for new members. You only need to register as a member if you want to accumulate points towards going to World Finals. If you only plan on doing Carl Caspers, then a membership isn't needed. See ya there. BenH
It's very doubtful for me. Quote 1992 GMC Sonoma 2008 MECA S1 Champ, 2010 MECA S2 Champ
