questions about SPL design for 2 8's

im designing an SPL enclosure for 2 8" L7's. I have a 99 ranger single cab with '87 mustang buckets. im trying to make a ported wedge shaped enclosure that will fit between the seats. trying to put a 2.0 cu. ft. box in there for max SPL. Behind the seats are my amps and dry cell battery(s).

So i guess my question would be " Are wedge shaped boxes that are ported good for SPL?" I went to R-F to get specs of a wedge 2 style box and im working on the port specs now. I was thinkin bout using an L- Shaped port in there. I could really use sum help on this. thanks

Is 2 all you are going to do? Can you get 4 in there? I assume you will use the space between the seats from the dash to the back of cab? Try to get more in there if posible. 2 8" L7 will do the job inside the cab,.......if that's what you want.

ya 2 is it for now. plus idk if i could fit 4 in there. lol. Im just trying to make sumthing that isn't huge but is mainly all performance.

I had two 8" L7's in a small enclosure and it was loud with a sinlge Stetsom 1K4D with no power upgrades in my 07 Silverado.. I mean LOUD for 2 8's.. I was doing low 140's on the TL.... 2 is plenty with the right power and box.. But like the other guy was saying 3 or 4 would be louder...
