Fuse light indicater qeustion

Ok guys i recently bought an Audio pipe Platinum multi fuse holder and i just hooked it up and on the package it said it has two blue LED light indicaters to state that the fuses are good now my car sits around and i dont use it much.it uses a seperate ground to be turned on is there any way i can run a switch to the ground to turn the LED's on and off? because i dont want my car sitting around and the LED's over time to run the battery down and the reason why i am asking this is when the car is fully off the leds stay on all the time and i was wanting to run a switch to have them turned off so they wouldn't be on all of the time......... i was thinking about running the ground off of the led indicater to the ground of the switch that way i can flip the switch so the ground will loose contact to the frame of the car and i think tha would turn the lights off does that sound right??? please help me this is hard to get out right :01nocomment8so:
