you need an extra battery then you wire it like this

front batt---------------fuse---------------rear batt-------------fuse amp OORR

front batt----------------------REAR batt--------fuse--------amp OOOOOR

ALT--------FUSE-----BATT------------BATT-------FUSE-----AMP

really up to you stops dimming and helps you not torture the amp

i got 3 batteries but im not sure what you consider cheap, we can help you with a lot but you have to know how much you are willing to spend

If I get a second battery I don't want to spend more than $200. If I need 'One' good battery I could go over that limit. but spending over $400 on a battery does not sound to appealing(sp) to me.

I work at UGA and they are making us take a lot of furloughs :(

BTW can you send me a link to the alternator you got? the one Im looking at is kinda sketchy looking.

There isn't a link. It's an Iraggi Alt. Amputator series 240A. PM or email Dom. He will hook you up.

Install is pretty easy on our jeep too. Just have to take off the belt which requires loosening like 4 bolts on the power steering pump, then you have to take out the battery, remember unhook it first ;). Then take out the plastic battery holder (there are 5 bolts for that). Then 5 bolts in the back of the alt to unhook all the wires and two that keep it mounted to the engine.

Before I did it, I found

. It clearly explains and shows you visually what to do. Real big help.

Have you got much money? I think I'll wire my car like this then SUE YOU WHEN IT BURNS TO THE GROUND. Don't give shit advice, especially dangerous shit advice like this.

You need _2_ fuses on the battery feed from the front to the back of the vehicle. If it shorts in the middle and you only have a fuse at the front your huge ass rear battery will still dump current and set the damn car on fire.

I got a Fi BL fully loaded and it is laughing at my 1300 rms comeing from my RF t1k. It gets really loud and low, they main diffence between the BL and BTL is power handleing, the BL I wouldn't put more then 2k rms on and the BTL i wouldn't put any less then 2.5k on it.

K thanks for the tip I remember that when I get around to building the box for the FI's.

I do have to ask tho, if you are certain on the caps? if I lose them my lights damn-near cut off. with them on I only see my In-lights flickering. Not trying to be smart, just hesitant???

And I plan on getting a 350amp alternator. Do you know s 'Cheap' good battery or 2 I can add on?

Good batteries > caps all day.

Before anyone can truly help you, what is your total budget?

I got about $700 to spend on subs

$500 everything else

so $1200

Everything else meaning what?

Amp, box, wiring, deadener, alt? Or does it include HU, door speakers, amp for that, all that wiring, etc?
