Reallunacy
So I am planning on starting my fist build and am looking to put 1 CTX65CS in each of my 4 doors, with a Q 450.4 to power them. For my subs I am planning on using 2 IDQ12V2.D4, with their 1200.1 powering them but am not sure about it. This is all going into a 2002 Dodge Intrepid SE 2.7L. I am not sure what the Alt is on the car but I assume I will need a HO Alt. Any recommendations on what amperage alt I should get? Any help would be much appreciated. Reallunacy
u dont need a HO alt. just a second battery and do the big 3 and you'll be fine Awesome thanks. I'll probably go a little overboard and get an XS Power S925.
Nirvalica
I have those speakers. They sound good. Just be sure you have the depth in your doors to mount them. They have a 2.75" mounting depth. It's not incredibly deep, but my front doors can't accomodate them. For SQ, I would recommend saving money on the back doors and just get a better ID pair of comps for the front. TheSundownFire
u dont need a HO alt. just a second battery and do the big 3 and you'll be fine No. You need an HO to run a second battery. Charging two batteries is too much stress for most stock alts and will lead to premature failure. I say just do the Big 3 and see where youre sitting at with your voltage then decide whether or not you need an HO alt.
