Dumb amp tuning question.

I've got an MTX RFL600D with a bass knob. The settings are as follows:

Gain: 5V-.25V

Subsonic: 25Hz-50Hz

Bass Boost: 0dB-12dB

LPF: 40Hz-200Hz

Now my question is, in what order do I go about adjusting the settings? According to the manual, for the bass knob you turn the gain all the way down and the bass knob all the way up. Then you adjust the gain up to the final non-distorted level and adjust the knob for best performance.

So where do the other settings come into play? Do I adjust those after adjusting the bass knob, or before? I've never had an amp with a bass knob, so I'm kind of lost at exactly how to use it.

turn ur ssf all the way down, since u have a sealed box. bass boost off, set ur gain with ur bass knob not connected, then when u connect it turn it all the way up and u will be where you set ur gain. turning it down will turn down the gain. lpf should b around 60-80 depending on your preferences.

Gain: use a volt meter and find the thread on how to tune gains properly on here (search function, use it) to find how much you need to turn that little knob

Subsonic: set to whatever the tuning of the box is if its ported, if sealed, set to probably 30hz or something (i dont remember if woofers stop themselves from overexcurting when in a sealed box)

Bassboost: keep it off/0

LPF: 80-100hz

I was just reading the thread on tuning. I need to get my hands on a voltmeter.
