civic_02 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 Right now I have two 12" audiobahn and one audiobahn amp that I have had in my 02 civic or for to five years now. So I have a few ideas but I donno yet. I was thinking going with 4 12" or 2 15" or just staying with 2 12". Also I have a few brands in mind but there is to meany to list off. So I was just wandoring what you all think is a good brand. If it comes down to it I will put up the brands i was thinking. One more thing I forgot to say is that i wanna kinda go big on this one with full out compation subbs amps.

Rockford fosgate,dc,earth quake,kicker,orion,pioneer,JL and a new one i found last night sun down audio. Like I sead these are just some of them. If you guys have ideas of brands that are not up there that you think would be goodlet me know.
Maxim Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 A few brands I don't see up there that I know people have had LOTS of success with are AA/Fi, DD, and RE. As far as amps go, you're gonna be hard pressed to find better amps than what Rockford makes. Stetsom and a few other companies make killer competition amps as well, so if that's the route you think you'll be going check out those companies. I'm assuming you're leaning toward more of a daily-based set-up, which most people do. Put up a budget for your build, preferably a max amount of cash you plan to spend. Remember, anything over 1000 watts will probably call for an electrical upgrade, so if you plan on going big (2-3K+ watts) you'll also have to buy a high-output alternator, bigger wires, and multiple batteries to power the system. wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt
