Ok, I have been working on this problem for a week, and could not figure it out. I just upgraded to Vista on my laptop, and I could connect to all my other PC's (XP) on my network by going \\computername or IP address, but could not see them under "network" they would show up under "network map" but not just "network" thus I could not map a printer. I could only "see" my laptop, and the router under "network" but no other PC's

I just happened to connect to my mothers wireless network last night, and low and behold, all her computers (XP) showed up under network. So I figured, what the heck, let me try to map the printer, WOW, it mapped, and I could print. So I started looking at settings, all the setting were identical as far as network (on the XP PC's), so on to the router settings, compared setting to setting to mine, everything was the same, other than, she had firmware 4.30.5, and I had version 4.30.9. I could not find version 4.30.5, but did find 4.30.7 so I installed this version, as soon as I did, low and behold, there was all my PC's!!

This was a Linksys WRT54GL
