antman25 Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 i have a 2001 hoe im trying to do the big 3 and i wanted to know if this is right. i run 1 wire from alt to battery then two grounds. but the thing that gets me is on the stock wires there are two wires one running from the alt and another from under the box with the fuses. so what is the right way for me. pioneer avh-p4200dvd (soon) Highs amp Zx350.4, zx200.2 4 Kicker Cvx 15 D4 Sub amps (4) Zx1000.1 (need one more) doors (6)kicker ks 650 Still under construction
RMac18 Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 Battery positive to Alt positive with a fuse on the wire. Battery negative to chassis ground(Frame). Engine block(or Alt. Bracket bolt) to ground.

Also use your search button, they have a nice thread just for the Big "3" Your correct. You leave all stock wiring in place, as your only adding the new wires to it. Also here's the thread for the Big 3 Upgrade.
