frizzy
Ok, so I'm making plans for a box that will have a 15" JL sub. My problem is that every port length calculator that I have used says that I need a 49" port length for two 3"x6" ports, and that just seems ridiculous to me, and I couldn't even get it into the box in the first place. I want to know if the calculators are wrong or if I should use some other port size or variation. Ok, I need 2 ports that are exactly the same. They need to be slot/square ports. Make them as rectangle like as possible. (please no squares, as I don't like the look of them) Box is 2.75 cu. ft. approx. (40"L x 20"H x 14"D1 x 5"D2 [not including port]) 25Hz tuning frequency (this seems really low to me, but the JL specs says 25) If you need any more specs, just say so.
