Deciding on sub, please help!

Hey guys well I just sold my two JL 12" w3's. I'm looking to upgrade and I'm looking into the 12" Fi SSD's. Is this sub a good bang for the buck? I'm looking to get the Flatwind upgrade and thats it. I'm going to throw it in a custom ported box that I will make but I just want some ideas on boxes and how I should set it up.
