gofastcrazy Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 so i got the big 3 done now my h o alt is here,so my question is. i have a 95 ram 1500, the stock alt went from the lug to the fuse box under the hood then out to the batt.the alt fuse is 140 amp, my new alt is 300 amp. so do i run from the lug to the batt and fuse it with a 300 amp or fuse it and run it back to its stock location.and if i run it to its stock location do i straight bar jump the alt fuse in the stock fuse box and let the one i put inline protect it. thanks in advanced.
