I have a few questions to start off with.. I'm putting 2 Fosgate 12's in my 1989 single cab chevy pickup. My question is what's the best Fosgate speaker and amp combo for a tight hitting bass and also with some deep bass to piss some people off. I have 2 Kenwood 10's and a Fosgate P8002 right now, but it's not enough.. I'm wanting to step it up a little bit. I appreciate it if I could get some replies. Thanks.
kmalinich Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 for tight bass, i'd recommend a sealed enclosure... and for deep bass i'd recommend a ported enclosure... so for in the middle, you're gonna need either a low tuned ported box or a big sealed box. and as far as sub and amp combo.. i'd be helpful if you gave us a budget. and welcome to the forums

Jamie Posted March 17, 2010 Author Report Posted March 17, 2010 I'm wanting the bass to be deep, I have had a ported box with 2 Memphis 15's and they sounded like crap.. I'm thinking my budget will be no more than $2k, not spending it all at once, maybe a few hundred here and there until I've reached my full $2k.
