ryderonthestorm Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Recently I installed a new 200 AMP HO Alt on my 1991 Lincoln Towncar. It seemed to work fine after I installed it but when I took it for a ride later that night the lights went dim and my stereo was cutting off, it also seemed to be shaking as well. I had to turn everything that was electrical off just so that I could get the car home. When I got it there the car went dead and locked up on me. So now it's sitting at my house and I have no idea how to fix the problem. I have the big 3 installed and a red top optima under the hood and I am running 600.4 RF Power, Kicker 750.1 and 350.4 Amps in the trunk. Any ideas or suggestions to my problem would be greatly appreciated.
