SPLMAX - Sam Posted June 20, 2007 Report Share Posted June 20, 2007 330 mile back to back 3 state competiton brings out the iron man competitors SPLMAX North event number 4 was Saturday Night in Butler PA. The event ended at 11:00 p.m. SPLMAX North event number 5 was Sunday Morning in Kendalville IN. Registration was at 11:00 a.m. SPLMAX CUP competitors Michael Lutz, Steve Mick, SS AUDIo and Adam Trifonoff made the almost all night drive 330 miles to compete both on Saturday and Sunday. For some of the compeititors it made for 600 mile weekend for the round trip driving. Saturday (Hot Dust Bowl) Michael 3rd place finish Steve 1st place finish Ss Audio 2nd place finish Adam 5th place finish Sunday (Hot Hot and Hot) Michael 1st place finish Steve 6th place finish Ss Audio 8th place finish Adam 1st place finish This weekend was the Sound Mekanix event number 4. This also included large travel distance for its competitors. American TV was the sponsor in Johnston Iowa. Tyler Kurtz, Greg Kolpien, Brian Stewart and Thee Michael Hughes traveled nearly 500 miles each to compete.
