But yes i have taken measurements it's exactly what i wanted dimensions wise, And is Tuned to 34 hz. I believe 1.96 per chamber 3.92 cu^ft Total. I was looking at one that looked like this and they had a bunch of prefabs to choose from but i wanted something different from what they offered. My last box was a prefab and was tuned to 46z before displacement. Yeah i didnt know any better back then, sounded decent tho edit: I Could have got it fully carpeted, or just bare wood if i wanted to, i just thought about lime green and black
Toady Posted July 16, 2010 Author Report Posted July 16, 2010 A little update, pics tomorrow, but finally have the grand am playing, took the batts out for a little while to do more work, had to drill 2 holes in my amp wall to run positive and ground 1/0 for the amps. took it out today after a good charge to see the results. Anyone that was worried about this box being tuned higher after displacement around 40 something hz has nothing to worry about. I did test tones and played songs and this thing gets lower for sure. will make a video of the install soon btw. one song that i played when i had a prefab tuned to 45 hz was run quickly by ghetto commission and it didnt sound good at all. Now i tried it again and it flexes the windshield, and actually sounds like it's supposed to now

I will be fabricating a battery rack in the trunk to House 2 Shuriken Batts (Biggest Ones 12V) will be doing 4 Runs of 1/0 cable from front to back. Will also be working with 2 sets of new subs for future projects. Will have pics up as they arrive.

I've gotten some bad comments and good ones. But maybe if I make the build bigger it will be actually a liked install rather than a disliked.
