milly Posted April 11, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 11, 2010 thats why we're here, to help you learn. i used to be in the same situation as you, but now boxes are the easiest thing in the world lol. give us your space dimensions and the vehicle you drive and someone here can help you design one. the most basic tools you would need for a box would be a jigsaw (to cut the woofer holes), drywall screws, caulk (to seal up air leaks), titebond glue, a drill for screwing in the screws and drilling the holes, and a regular circular saw isnt needed but makes things way easier. alot of places like Lowes and stuff can cut your wood for you but theres sometimes a small charge for each cut and sometimes there isnt a fee at all, you just pay for the $20-30 sheet of 3/4" MDF. The car i mentioned above, mercedes benz e350 and the demensions im not quite sure yet, as i stated i am going to measure them tonight. Does the box have to go all the way to the side of the trunk?
