skynoverya550 Posted April 15, 2010 Report Share Posted April 15, 2010 I have a denon avr686 and a huge monster power supply home audio thing and im getting ready to start ordering a few this for my living room. i drew a ROUGH! layout of my living room to show where everything is placed... i was thinking multiple sets of ceiling speakers?? probably be the cleanest. behind my couch (that faces TV) is a pony wall so i couldn't do wall mounts.. the part of the couch facing the kitchen is a full wall. i don't have a TV yet cause i just moved. but i have 62"s of width on my mantle to play with so im thinking a 55" LCD. i want this mainly for movies and big games ect.. i don't play video games to often. but i don't want to spend a fortune. i figured if i shop around i could probably do something loud for 1500. id really like to utilize my receiver but if i had to get an additional amp for the subs i wouldn't mind. any suggestions for in ceiling speakers? or suggestions in speaker placementhttp://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm115 in general. thanks in advance!
