upgrading some stuff wana know what you guys think

car is a 98 neon speakers go as follows 2-2.5" tweaters up front "im unsure" 6-1/2 jbl in doors and kenwood 6x9s in the rear

now im wondering how these re 6x9s would compare to the ones i currently have that are 2 years old

i wana keep all the speakers the same brand and the same color as they are not now.

what ive been wanting to do with my car but have been unable to get help is do basicly something similar to my 3way pioneer towers on each chanell of my cars reciever ie each chanel has its own seperate highs mids and lows. ill prolly only do that for the front 2 channells and keep the 6x9s by them selves in the back now my issue here is idk how to build a cross over to do what i want here basicly i want the tweaters to be my highs 6-1/2s to cover from low highs to mid to mild lows then an 8" sub in the door to cover the rest. the other issue i run into is i need a 4ohm load now the speakers im wanting to get will prolly be from parts express im currently undecided. can someone please help me build a cross over ive been to sites that kind of explain what i want to do but im still dumb founded i guess i need someone who knows exactly what there doing so i can bug them with lots of questions.

another option i have though of is to run the read chanell that would go to the 6x9s up front to the sub in the door instead and use an amp for my 6x9s that way i have more power to the speakers up front and easyer wiring options

my price for a new set of 6x9s is prolly 200 at most so if anyone has any other options please post color kind of matters though i want something black.

you don't need to separate it, on a coaxial speaker (a speaker with a tweeter mounted on it) the speaker itself has crossovers on it... usually...

and on a component system (tweeter and midrange separate) the speakers come with their own crossovers.. you don't need to build one...

and you can't wire more speakers to your head unit.. that would either drop the ohm load too low or it would make it too high depending on how you wire it...

and if you are wanting to build some sort of multi-way soundstage.. it would be much easier to use active crossovers... like a rockford fosgate 360.2.. you can just punch in what frequency you want the crossovers to be at.

those RE 6x9s are good but i would either buy mb quart, infinity reference, or rockford power series 6x9s... just in my opinion...

this is exactly what im looking for the only thing is i dont understand how a cross over changes impedence or what happends

like say i used that exact one and i had a 4 ohm tweater and a 4ohm mid with a 8 ohm woofer would they all essentially be wired in parrellel or ? if so that would be like 2ohm plus an 8 wich would eather make a 4 or 6 load? idk im gona look into cross overs like these instead thank you
