lance_aka_64 Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 my buddy just got a caddy with hydros. it has 8 batteries wired at 96 volts. the problem is that he does not have a charger that will charge them and it is a pain in the ass to charge each one one at a time. so, will his pumps still run on 12 volts? that way his alt can some what charge the batts? he doesn't really use his switches much, doesn't hop around. he will do 3 wheel if he feels like showing off though. Switchblade Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 (edited) Tell him to spend 2-3 hundred on a multi battery charger. The pumps are gonna run HORRIBLY slow on 12 volts. Also I'd recommend him to go from 8 to 4. If he's not hopping he has way too many batteries. Edited April 21, 2010 by Switchblade Quote
