Alright...

So i have a DAT 4125 amp.

Channel 1/2 is pushing a pair of Rockford Power 6.5" components at 4 ohms

What should the HPF be set to for these 2 channels? it ranges from 55Hz~740Hz

Channel 3/4 is pushing 2 sets of Infinity kappa Perfect 3 way 6x9's.

What should the HPF be set to for these 2 channels? It ranges from 55Hz~740Hz.

My Sub amp is a DAT 1000.1

What should the LPF be set to? It Ranges from 50Hz to 250Hz

I known subsonic gets set to like 18Hz, im fine with that one.

Also my Head unit.. alpine 9886... does the HPF setting on that only effect speakers hooked up to the external amp?

And if someone can push me to a chart or diagram of what is considered "low" frequencies, "Mid bass" freqencies, "Mid range" frequencies and "high" frequencies, that would be great.

on the deck, leave everything through (no filter)

fronts, probably looking at around 60-80hz. You're going to have to fine tune it, noone can give you an exact. same goes for the rears, but they may end up a little lower, call it 50-80hz.

subsonic shouldnt be that low, make it like 5-10hz under your box tuning. the point of it is to prevent sub-tuning frequency overexcursion of the woofer, and 18 is just too damn low unless you are sealed/ported @20hz.lpf will probably end up somehwere between 60-100 depending on woofer size, box, tuning, and preference.

personally, I'm set at about 60hz hpf for my 6.5 in speakers, and 80hz lpf for my sub. but when i ran 8's I let the lpf go to 100, and when I had 4's in my doors my hpf was at like 120...

I always thought i would want the 6x9's to play a bigger range of Frequencies than the 6.5's?

And for now its just a single ten inch sub in a Ported box thats tuned to 32hz

I will adjust that sub-sonic as well to about 25.
