Ben G.
Hey, i'm wondering if you are suppose to run a certain size for amperage for an inline fuse..I already know a bigger wire means a larger fuse, but I'm curious if you should have a certain size for your amps amperage? I know some people and they constantly blow fuses. I thought it was stray voltage. Is this a possibility? Thanks A lot.
Guest
look at your amplifier's fuses. get a fuse thats as big or a tad bigger than it and install it. problem solved. also this has helped me out in countless situations. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/1005-wirefuse-guide/
Ben G.
ok, thanks. I was pretty sure thats how it was suppose to be done, but i ran a 6gauge wire and had a 60A inline on a hifonics 100A and i never blew one fuse. And rite now i'm currently running nothing cuz i'm starting a new build.
