I dont know if it goes here .. But I figured I would try.

So, long story short, I need some midbass in my room for my subs.

My Stepmom wrecked her car, and come to find out, it has a stock Infinity system.

She is scrapping it, and has told me I can have all the speakers in her car. (2)6x9 (2) 1" tweeters

I can access the tweets easy, but the 6x9's are a different story.

Their hidden by what seems like a cardboard shell, in the trunk. I was playing with it a little, and I dont wanna f it up. Any ideas on how to remove them?

Also, I read somewhere that it might have an amp somewhere?

If so, what size, and where can I find this?

The Infinty systems are decent, but to be honest...they're not worth the effort to pull them. And they're all 2 ohm.

The tweeter sails come out easily, but they're mediocre. The 6x9's are crap, and will almost certainly be brittle/blown...not to mention needing to remove the whole backseat to access them (seriously). You might be able to hack from the trunk seeing as how it's wrecked anyway, but I'm not sure. Not worth the effort IMO, but if you do, let me know if you think another set would fit up there with them, please.

There should also be 6 1/2's in the front doors and maybe the back if it's the Infinity II. Pop off the grilles, take out the screws...but they are likely brittle/blown too.

Factory amp is awesome!!! If you're an older person, not into audio. But there is a market for them...the head unit too.

If there are NO 6 1/2's in the rear doors = Infinity I = Amp behind front passenger kick panel. 2 screws.

If there ARE 6 1/2's in the rear doors = Infinity II = Amp in trunk, passenger fender. Take off the trunk carpet.

Dude thanks so much! I'll go try it. I know the front 6.5s are blown .. But i'll get back to you on how everything else goes.
