EricR
id get this.... http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=17675 Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? 96saturnsl
Get a amp that matches the RMS of the subwoofer. and depending on the brand, some subs can be over powered some cant. so over power them a little at ur OWN RISK. be carefull over powering them if your going to. i wouldnt just becauseim not sure if the sub can take it. 96saturnsl
if u scroll down on the page that amp is on. it tells u the rms range.it says 300-600 watts. so if u set the gains right u can power that sub just fine. its not too big of a amp. it should be fine. EricR
you have a 4 ohms sub thats 400 watts rms....not talking down on kenwood but they are not the best brand to go for subs but hey you gotta start some where....so the amp is 300 watts rms at 4 ohms so it will match the sub perfectly without overpowering it....so you should be set edit....never bought anything from the site but im sure its legit....
